Barrenness in the Bible, Session 2

This is Session 2 of a 5-part study of the barren women of the Bible. Infertility was NOT a curse among the matriarchs; rather it was a great blessing because of the caliber of sons God would bring forth in His appointed time. If you are in need of hope and encouragement in any “barren” area of your life, this study is for you.

Ruth and Rebekah

Barrenness in the Bible is a recurring prophetic theme. In this session Dr. Noreen Jacks discusses Sarah and Rebekah and the clash between divine promise and human efforts. God will only fulfill a promise in His appointed time. Until then, He works with His people to bring the promise to pass. Dr. Jacks also thrills us with the love story of Rebekah and Isaac.
