Uncovering Mysteries in the New Testament
is a series designed to demonstrate how to uncover deeper meaning and bring the New Testament to life.
The Language of Judgment
The Old Testament is filled with language of judgment that uses extreme exaggeration, not for condemnation but as strict discipline presented by a loving Father. Too often Christians think that the people of Israel have been condemned for not obeying the Law, but that is not correct. We will review language of judgment from the Old Testament first, and then will discover that the same language of judgment appears in the New Testament.
